Approach

Karen and Sophie collated their data from:

1. Background reading of available project process and research materials as well as external sources
2. Attendance at a meeting of the International Working Group in November 2008 at which they:
   a) Facilitated a structured session
   b) Interviewed key stakeholders

Three papers have been produced on private sector participation, financing and regulation with the aim of drawing out insights directly from The Water Dialogues’ experience at national level. A fourth paper, the “Overview Paper”, places the three thematic papers into the context of general international trends in each of these three areas.
